Christchurch Christmas Market

I spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the Christmas Market yesterday and soaked up some early Christmas cheer, literally! The bands entertained, the food stalls did great business and the whole experience an absolute delight. Good to see the community working together!. I must mention the magnificent craft fair held in the Priory, hundreds of stalls brimming with Christmas goodies mostly created by the people manning the stalls. I was particularly impressed by the lady spinning silk, what a great skill! Having had a full morning at a Council meeting I was unable to stay for the entrance of Father Christmas for domestic reasons but friends tell me that huge crowds arrived to see him and the reindeers. Great day, great place Christchurch.
