Remembrance Day this Sunday

Together with my fellow councillors I will be at Purewell Cross at 9.30am Sunday morning for the service in the remembrance gardens at Purewell and then on to the Mayors parlour where we join the British legion to process to the Priory. For me this is the most important civic day of the year. It would be really good to see many more residents at Purewell as the whole meaning of remembrance is brought in some way closer to home. The dignity and reverence of the service and laying of tributes at the Priory is a lasting acknowledgement of the sacrifice others made for our freedom. Please attend if you can.
