Christchurch-where we like to be beside the seaside.

Financial Times LINK www.ft.com/seaside This is a story following Christchurch being the least affected by deprivation from a list of 31 Coastal towns. It makes interesting reading.

You ought to add a comment that it is required to subscribe before this article can be read. Limited access is free, but I still don't want to do it. Any chance of a summary of the article - I know you can't just copy/paste?

Thanks, dcs4area. I said in my first blog that I know it's free for limited access. I don't want to register just for this. How many others are going to register just to find the facts, particularly if they're not confident with computers? Couldn't a short precis of the salient points be written? This article was the basis of Ray's post.

But you do not have to register at all!!!!!!

Thanks, Ray. I have an MA in ICT and can't do what you say. The link doesn't work. It was obviously meant to - hence the word LINK in capitals. Pasting the web address gets you only to the registration page, for slideshows. Try pasting it. It REALLY doesn't work (my capitals here are not a link!!!). The page is below the registration, but not registering take you straight out of the whole thing and straight back to your blog.

Well I am very sorry about this but it must be an individual hitch because all my mates have accessed the story with no problem. There was a brief report in the Echo yesterday. Sorry but as this is FT story I cannot go further as you suggest.

Deleted last comment - it appears that copying the whole link doesn't work. Just search for financial times seaside and the link appears near the top. Interesting article, some good pictures - though I'm not sure about the last one! (Joke, Ray!)

Glad you got there, I thought FT could have concentrated more on our economic structure and potential ie Aerospace to Tourism as well as the work we are doing in realising the opportunities at the Airport. However still a good positive piece for Christchurch well worth the time put in to the project.
