Saturday surgery
A very busy morning on Saturday with issues ranging from waste collection to planning issues. Perhaps the most significant change we are seeing is the keen interest residents are now taking in improving the look and tidiness of the ward. It is encouraging to see our message of improving resident engagement in such issues as pathway clearance, dog pooh and neglected building sites is beginning to resonate with neighbourhoods. The Stanpit Marsh improvement consultation has clearly been well received and some positive constructive suggestions being made. Parking problems also featured and all issues raised passed this morning to the appropriate departments for action. Much appreciated was the resident who complimented CBC on the street cleaning regime as well as all those who took the time to come to see us at St Johns. A very satisfying morning.
