Christchurch Hospital

Further to my earlier blogs and as a result of many residents contacting me with their concerns about the future of Christchurch Hospital, I can report that considerable progress has been made which in my opinion will breach the current impasse and take us to a secure future for the Hospital proposals. Considerable involvement from Conservative ward Councillors has opened up opportunities and I am confident that in encouraging and engaging in a partnership approach to the issue we have a direction which is more acceptable and sustainable. New plans will be submitted and assessed at the planning meeting on March 14th and they will be made available in good time for every interested party to view prior to the planning meeting.
