Residents Association
It is a fact that resident associations and local authorities sometime just don't get on. Community issues often clash with corporate directions which can lead to considerable stress in the relationship. Such has been the case of the latest RA whose top man came to see me for a one to one yesterday. Following a full and frank discussion mainly to do with delivering a 'better place' attitude to this particular community I was interested to hear his views on the progress he saw CBC making and was delighted to receive his affirmation of what we are doing. Working in parallel to CBC corporate direction I am hoping this RA will contribute outcomes within the whole localism agenda.

Cllr Nottage, our residents association has always welcomed your attendance at one of our meetings to discuss matters such as this and sadly, you have yet to take us up on it.
I would be delighted to attend or arrange a meeting at Christchurch BC. Late last and early this year I attended all but one of the road shows where I met with residents and members of just about every RA in the Borough. Let me know your availability I will be delighted to meet.
