An afternoon at the Airport
Quite an event at the Airport on Friday when the culmination of the redesign of facilities and the official closure of the investment plan by Manchester Airport Corp following a total spend of £50 million, was celebrated by dignatries from around the area as well as senior management from the company. The Airport is now fit for purpose and ready to grow when the general economic situation improves and we all start jetting off to exotic places. Meanwhile the development of the industrial area continues at a pace adding to the jobs potential for the Borough. I am convinced that Christchurch will be seen as a good place for new business start ups and existing business expansion and that this growth will be essential in meeting the Councils vision over the next twenty years. A good afternoon spent with influential people not spoiled by the downpour or the problem that I only saw one mention of the Borough of Christchurch and that was to do with Highcliffe Castle.
