Yesterdays Surgery

A busy morning with a steady flow of visitors and problems ranging from the inevitable dog poo problem through to double yellow lines and of course the bins at Stanpit. Nice to have compliments paid regarding the buses and the work we did to maintain the service but we must keep a close eye on the service which appears to me to be getting busier by the week.Whilst the general opinion was that our streets are cleaner than four years ago we still have some challenges in particular areas where litter is more prevalent than I would like. The really good news is that the Moffatt/ Cameron area is so much better and the new recruits to Home watch show that we are winning more and more residents over to being part of the community and setting standards. Well done to Sparky and his team another month where ASB incidents were at an all time low and petty crime very slight indeed. All in all a very satisfying morning with really good communications and very positive feedback.
