Work starts at Tuttons well.

I popped along to Tuttons well and had a chat with the volunteers working to restore some of the historic sea/estuary wall which has been hidden deep in the reed beds. Also the exposure of the clearwater spring which will feed the dipping area when the work is completed. I have to say how encouraged I was to see residents taking so much interest in this project which will preserve a very special part of Stanpit history. It says a lot about a community when a project like this is undertaken and funded by volunteers and I for one feel nothing but admiration for them and the results of their endeavours.If you get the chance go and see what they are doing and give them a pat on the back.
