House alarms and burglaries.

I was given a bit of interesting information by one of my collegues at East Dorset today in respect of the problem we are all experiencing across Dorset of house and shed burglaries.It is apparent that no burglary has taken place on any domestic property in this or last year that had alarms fitted. This applies to pan Dorset and as I have no reason to despute the claim, makes me wonder why we are not working with credited companies to give our Homewatch members, who are without alarms, special offers to have theses devices fitted. Seems to me that there is a real avertising/sponsorship deal ready to be negotiated if someone applies their mind to it.So I am using my blog to send the message to Homewatch, what do you think guys?
