Quomps Splashpark to go ahead

In addition to my last blog and as a result of a considerable amount of late night candle burning by your Conservative councillors, I can now report that work is due to commence on the brand new state of the art splash park at the Quomps at the end of this season. A few loose ends need to be tidied up but in essence the project is all ready to go. The process of gaining funding has been a bit complicated but all the monies are in place so yet another brilliant project will be completed for next season by your Conservative team. This attraction will do much to bolster the appeal of Christchurch both to existing and potential residents as well as visitors and is a further indication of how a Conservative Council can deliver real benefits to their community.Well done to all those residents who are involved, this issue fostered real community spirit and drive. Makes me proud to be part of the team.
