Getting the job done

I have been very amused at the claims being made by my Liberal Democrat opponents about all the things they have supposed to have done in Christchurch in general and Purewell and Stanpit in particular. It does seem remarkable that although incumbent as Councillors in P&S for over two terms all the things they claim credit for have been achieved since Lucy and I took over. They patently failed to get support for the Stanpit traffic calming scheme. We got the job done.They failed to get the Stanpit Marsh visitors centre built and even opposed the design at the last moment causing considerable delay. We got the job done. They questioned project to give our kids a new BMX park and all weather pitches at Two Rivers Meet. We got the job done.
When we took over the ward residents were complaining about the levels of crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.The Liberals had ignored the problem and well being was at an all time low.Today is a different story and P&S is a fantastic place to live. We got the job done. And now in Christchurch Central we see the same record of failure but when we win the seat at County we will get the job done
