Surgery 6th December and St Johns Church

Within a few minutes of opening the doors at 10am on Saturday little St Johns Church was buzzing with activity. Residents joining Sparky Barry Sherwin(PACT Chairman) and me answering questions and dealing where we could with personal problems. From bus timetables to concessionary transport, from half dead trees to dog poo in Normandy Drive, a really satisfactory morning leaving much to do this week. I wouldn't have it any other way, the fact that people are coming to surgery is a good indication that our little population cares about Purewell and Stanpit and that is good. St Johns performed excellently and I promised to make a statement about their Christmas Service. Christmas Eve at 3.30 pm The Crib Service. Christmas Day at 8.0am Holy Communion and Sunday 28th December Lessons and Carols by candlelight and gaslight.3.30pm.
