One of the most extraordinary meetings occurred last light at full Council. I notified a question regarding the cost to the community of vandalism and anti-social behaviour and attempted to follow up The Council leaders reply with a prepared statement. This reply celebrated the excellent work carried out by our Community services Team in running a two day training event for the Police and other partners. So good was this event that we received a letter from Dorset Police commending named officers for their work and advising that the idea was to be rolled out throughout Dorset. Further to explain to the Council the amazing progress of Christchurch Borough Homewatch, now over 2000 strong across the Borough and asking the leader to join me in thanking Bernie Davis and Bary Sherwin for their hard work and dedication.
